Quick and Easy S’more Dessert

Anything with gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate is okay by me.  If you don’t have access to a fire pit for traditional s’mores, making them in the oven with refrigerated crescent rolls is a great option.  All you need are miniature marshmallows, chocolate chips, and a tube of crescent rolls. I use the reduced fat ones to make myself feel a little better.  They still taste great, and when I end up eating half a dozen at a time that starts to add up.

Simply unroll the pastry as you would when normally cooking the crescent rolls, but add a few chocolate chips and marshmallows.  I prefer to have maximum chocolate/marshmallow to pastry ratio, so I am not really able to roll them back up.  Mine are more of a dumpling where I pinch the edges together.

Place the little pockets of goodness on a baking sheet and follow the directions on the tube for cooking time and temperature.  Once the tops start to turn golden brown they are ready to eat.  The whole process only takes about 15 minutes.  Quick, easy, and super yummy, it doesn’t get much better than that.
